Sustainable Places 2016 – Anglet (France) – June 29-July 1

Sustainable Places 2016
Call for Contributions

The Sustainable Places event series has become widely revered for successfully clustering EU projects of similar interest, and connecting those projects with relevant market stakeholders through open and constructive dialogue.

SP'16 is the fourth edition of the series, and focuses on energy efficiency of built environment innovation in Europe. The event features a strong and sustained relationship with a growing list of projects funded by the European Commission under the FP7 and H2020 frameworks, with emphasis on those falling under the umbrella of the Energy Efficient Building Public Private Partnership (EeB PPP).

The need to enhance the sustainability of places – buildings, districts, cities – where we live, work and have leisure, is now acknowledged as one of the top contemporary societal concerns.
Enabling sustainable places requires a major breakthrough that encompasses many dimensions: evolving regulatory and policy frameworks, increasing business actors, fostering technology innovation and assessing societal impact. The recognition of the multiple dimensions of the issue is at the very heart of the Sustainable Places initiative.

Key stakeholders of the energy efficiency value chain have already expressed their interest in joining the event.
